Youth Art Class - Series (Build your own)

from $50.00

We meet outside and walk (or run depending on group enthusiasm) to a vista or into the woods. There, we settle in to make art! Games and more movement are also part of the curriculum. Engaging the whole body in learning is key!

Eight classes with 2 - 6 students for $1000. This includes art supplies and weekly “exploration prompts”. A class with 5 students this is about $20/class per student.

Still curious?

You are one step closer to getting your Little Creative making art this Season to expand their creativity and skill. These classes are designed considering each participant’s interests, level of understanding, and skill set.

The “Build Your Own Series” works with a group of students that YOU put together (2 - 6 students). This size allows for fun, paired and group activities to learn the elements and principles of art, as well as adds a nice variety to the 1.5 hour class.

What to expect in an Outdoor Art Class:

These classes are designed for students wishing to have an in person, low-pressure, earthy, learning experience, and see improvement! Small groups meet outside weekly, take a short walk to a vista or into the forest, and are then guided in a creative practice by a WA certified teacher and experienced artist. Mediums include, but aren’t limited to, watercolor, drawing, paper making, handmade tempura exploration, and mother nature!

Tuition and Scheduling:

For $1050 (reduce by $50 for cash or check payment), students will meet 8 times, normally once a week and go home with an “exploration prompt” if they choose for enrichment and practice. With 5 students this is about $25/class per student.

The schedule depends on the group! Once communication is established, Aliina will work with you to find a day and time that works best for everyone. This is the Northwest; if the weather is prohibitive for doing art outside we will either reschedule or move into the indoor classroom (my studio) with masks on.

Please, don’t hesitate to call, text, or email Aliina if you have questions.
